$16,000 for KidSport KW from Our 6th Annual Golf Tournament
Our 6th Annual Jackman & Friends Charity Golf Tournament raised $16,000 for KidSport Kitchener-Waterloo, helping local kids get on the ice safely this winter.
On September 18, 2026, over 150+ players, volunteers and sponsors joined us at Rebel Creek Golf Course in Petersburg for the 6th Annual Jackman & Friends Charity Golf Tournament. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised $16,000 for KidSport Kitchener-Waterloo this year.
In loving memory of Keegan Duncan White
This year's tournament held special meaning for our Jackman family. Our donation was made in loving memory of Keegan Duncan White, and knowing these funds will help more local children experience the joy, confidence and friendships that come with playing sports makes this year's contribution especially meaningful.
Where the funds will go
We recently presented our donation cheque to representatives from KidSport Kitchener-Waterloo, who shared how the funds will be used:
- A significant portion will help purchase helmets for a 10-week Learn to Skate program at King Edward Public School in Kitchener, beginning this January.
- In partnership with McPhail's Cycle and Sport, KidSport will make sure these young skaters have the equipment they need to get on the ice safely.
KidSport has kindly offered to share photos from the program, and we look forward to seeing the donation in action.
Thank you
Six years in, this tournament continues to be about so much more than golf. It's about great people, lasting partnerships, a little friendly competition, and coming together to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, volunteer and partner who helped make year six one to remember, and to Rebel Creek Golf Course for hosting us. We're already looking forward to year seven.
Thank you to our sponsors
This tournament wouldn't be possible our 2026 sponsors. Thank you for supportinglocal kids through KidSport Kitchener-Waterloo.
