Holiday Mamas for Mamas Drive: A Huge Success
In December 2023 we ran our holiday drive for Mamas for Mamas, gathering more than 200 toys, 200 lb of food, more than 100 lb of supplies, and over 250 lb of clothing. They told us it was their biggest donation to date.
In December 2023 we ran our annual holiday drive with a new partner: Mamas for Mamas, a local charity working to change the landscape of poverty by helping families facing financial barriers. They help people navigate food security, affordable housing, education, and access to their in-house mental health team, with counselling at no cost for those who qualify.
Our goal was to gather non-perishable food, personal and household supplies, clothing, toys, and monetary donations for Christmas baskets.
That season we stocked their stores with more than 200 toys, 200 lb of non-perishable food, more than 100 lb of supplies and products, and over 250 lb of clothing for women and children of all ages.
After the holiday, Mamas for Mamas told us the donation was the biggest to date. It helped restock items they need most, and brought joy to families over the season.
