Over $13K for Lutherwood Children's Mental Health Services
On 22 September 2023, we hosted a charity golf tournament at Rebel Creek Golf Club and raised $13,325 for Lutherwood Children's Mental Health Services. Thank you to the sponsors, clients, and staff who made it possible.
On 22 September 2023, at Rebel Creek Golf Club, businesses, clients, and staff came together to play golf and raise funds for Lutherwood Children's Mental Health Services, which helps children and youth across the region.
What the funds support
Mary-Jo, Assistant Director of Development & Communications at Lutherwood, shared this at the time:
Last year, we helped the equivalent of 109 full classes of children and youth needing mental health treatment. Each one of those 2,700 kids have individual mental health challenges that need to be addressed. Because of the generosity of Jackman Construction, the sponsors and players at this year's Jackman Construction golf tournament we will be able to provide 267 individual sessions, therapeutic recreation sessions and music therapy sessions.
