Health & Safety
We put our people's safety first. No schedule or budget is worth compromising the well-being of anyone on a Jackman site.
Why it matters
Everyone deserves to go home safe at the end of the day. Every project deserves to be completed without injury.

Actively Pursuing
COR® Certification, backed by our in-house H&S program, ongoing training, and safety-first culture
Every safety measure we implement protects the most valuable asset, human life. Our workers are someone's family, and their safety is our highest priority.
Workplace accidents cost Canadian employers $8.9 billion annually. Our proactive safety approach saves money while saving lives.
Clients trust contractors with a strong safety culture. Our commitment to safety, from ongoing training to our path toward COR® certification, reflects our dedication to doing things right.
By consistently minimizing risk and hazard exposure, we build lasting confidence with clients, ensuring projects proceed without uncertainty.
How we work
We can talk about health and safety on a public site before every certificate is in place. These are the parts of the program we highlight now, and we will add more as the work develops.

01
People do not start work until they understand the job, the hazards, and how we expect them to work.

02
We check that safe work procedures are being followed, not only written down.

03
Health and safety has a dedicated owner, the equipment crews need, and software to keep the record honest.
Safety lead
Mac leads Jackman's health and safety program across construction, drywall, and renovation.
He oversees training, site inspections, safe work procedure checks, and the equipment and software our crews use on the job.
As the program develops, we will keep this page current so owners and consultants can see how the work is growing.
Our commitment to safety is supported by leading industry platforms and recognized by prestigious safety organizations.
